Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated

Power Systems Engineer / Technician

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all power and E&M systems across datacenters and exchanges.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily

preventive and corrective maintenance

of UPS, DC systems, generators, LV panels, fire systems, battery systems, and power distribution systems. Conduct annual

DC plant & UPS battery load testing

. Respond quickly to contingencies to restore operations during system or component malfunctions. Carry out

in-depth troubleshooting

of UPS, rectifiers, PLCs, diesel generators & controls, ATS, firefighting systems, and electrical systems. Review and verify

power & E&M documentation, reports, and calculations

for accuracy and quality. Analyze equipment failures and incident reports, implement corrective actions to improve system reliability. Manage and maintain the

complete power database

for datacenters and exchanges (layouts, as-built drawings, CAD SLDs, power connectivity records). Inspect facilities to identify

single points of failure

and propose corrective actions. Create and close work orders for assigned tasks. Lead the team in both preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Provide

training

and technical guidance to operations staff. Coordinate with vendors for emergency requirements and ensure timely resolution. Work in a

24/7 operational environment

, including extended hours under pressure when required. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

Proven experience in

power systems, UPS, generators, and electrical troubleshooting

. Strong knowledge of

datacenter and exchange power systems

. Ability to analyze failures, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions. Experience in

vendor coordination and team leadership

. Strong documentation, reporting, and database management skills. Flexibility to work in a

shift-based 24/7 environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED7,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:

UPS systems: 5 years (Preferred) * Power Systems: 4 years (Preferred)
