Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

Power BI Developer

with a strong background in the

Finance domain

to design, develop, and maintain insightful dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of financial data, KPIs, and metrics, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with Finance teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into Power BI dashboards and visuals. Develop and maintain financial dashboards, reports, and scorecards (e.g., P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting). Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources (ERP, Excel, databases) to Power BI. Optimize and troubleshoot Power BI reports for performance and usability. Build and manage data models using DAX and Power Query tailored to financial analysis. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify KPIs and standard financial metrics. Conduct UAT and training sessions for finance stakeholders. Stay updated with Power BI feature updates and industry best practices.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 3+ years of experience working with Power BI, specifically in a financial environment. Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business finance processes. Proficient in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling. Hands-on experience with tools like SQL, Excel, and cloud services (Azure, SharePoint, etc.). Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Power BI Certification (PL-300 or similar) Experience with budgeting and forecasting tools or platforms Knowledge of finance automation or RPA tools is an advantage

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
