Job Description

Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data into meaningful insights. Create dashboards and interactive reports using Power BI. Identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them regularly. Analyze data and present findings through reports to facilitate decision-making. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and plan timelines accordingly. Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts; perform detailed analysis. Execute DAX queries and functions within Power BI. Create charts and document data with explanations of algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships. Conduct data warehouse development activities. Perform SQL queries for optimal results. Utilize filters and graphs to enhance data understanding. Analyze current ETL processes to define and design new systems. Implement technical improvements to existing BI systems for better performance. Communicate effectively with both business and technical teams. Adapt quickly to changing business environments and stay updated on best practices and advancements. Demonstrate multitasking, interpersonal skills, and document solutions thoroughly. Apply experience and knowledge to future solutions, maintaining an analytical and problem-solving mindset. Be self-motivated, eager to learn, and a team player with leadership qualities. Possess skills in BI tools such as Power BI, including creating dashboards, implementing RLS, writing DAX expressions, and developing custom BI products using scripting languages like R and Python. Have 2-3 years of experience with Power BI or related data roles, with strong knowledge of database management, data modeling, SQL, data warehousing, and OLAP. Deep understanding of Microsoft BI stacks such as Power Pivot, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS. Ability to drill down into data and visualize it effectively through charts, reports, or dashboards. Understand software development architecture and technical aspects.
