We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role involves transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and reports that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Visualization:
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Design, build, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
Perform advanced data analysis using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
Create KPI scorecards and trend analysis reports.
Data Modeling & Integration:
Develop and maintain tabular and multidimensional data models.
Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and spreadsheets.
Implement row-level security and data governance practices.
ETL & Data Preparation:
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data using Power Query and other tools.
Clean and prepare data for analysis ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Collaboration & Documentation:
Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and developers to gather requirements.
Document processes, data models, and methodologies.
Provide training and support to end-users.
Performance Optimization:
Optimize report performance and data model efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy and report rendering.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in Power BI tools including Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes.
Experience with SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and other Microsoft BI stack components.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (preferred).
