About the School

A well-established international school in Al Ain is seeking a qualified

English Teacher

to join its dedicated secondary faculty. The school delivers a high-quality American curriculum in a supportive, multicultural environment focused on student success and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the American curriculum. Teach reading, writing, grammar, and literature with an emphasis on critical thinking and communication skills. Differentiate instruction to support students with varying English proficiency levels, including EAL learners. Use formative and summative assessments to monitor and improve student progress. Integrate technology and innovative classroom strategies to enhance learning. Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular literacy initiatives. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, or related field.

PGCE / PGDE / B.Ed

or equivalent recognized teaching qualification. Minimum

2 years of teaching experience

(American or international curriculum preferred). Strong classroom management and ability to engage learners of diverse backgrounds. IELTS score of

7.0 +

(for non-native English speakers).

All documents must be attested and ready for ADEK approval. Must have equivalency.

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting EAL / ESL students. Knowledge of adaptive teaching and differentiation strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to use digital learning platforms effectively.

Salary:

Up to

12,000 AED per month

(tax-free, based on experience).
