Your day to day

Responsible for guest services at the resort pools, outdoor playing areas and beach, as well as cleaning of recreational areas.

Opening and closing set-up of pool and beach areas as per resort standards.

• Provides excellent and warm service to guests at all times, ensure they are always comfortable, and satisfied around the pool and beach facilities.
• Assist with resort activity program as required
• Be aware of daily weather, pool temperatures, tides, jellyfish, oil spill at the beach and other external factors that may affect safekeeping of hotel assets and guests/employees alike.
• Understands and strictly adheres to the Rules & Regulations established in the Hotel s policy on Fire, Hygiene, and Health & Safety.
• Ensures that all maintenance issues and hazards are reported and rectified immediately for the safety of guests.
• Take initiative always to ensure guest safety and satisfaction, being flexible with taking on other responsibilities as and when required by the hotel operation.
• Assist on other tasks which may be assigned by the supervisor or manager.

What we need from you
In order to be considered for this role, ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:

• High school or equivalent education preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in the same field required, prior luxury hospitality experience desired
• Knowledge on gym equipment procedures and standards
• Requires good English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must possess basic computational ability
• Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and to push/pull medium to large weights/objects, frequently standing up and moving around the facility, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling
