We are currently seeking a Policy Advisor to join our client\'s esteemed policy team in Abu Dhabi. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the coherence of information and narrative across all formal and informal speeches and statements made to senior officials. This is a hands-on position that requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to develop key messages and initial drafts into speeches, video scripts, and other communication materials.

The successful candidate for this role must possess advanced English writing and editing skills. Ideal candidates may have a background in political communications, journalism, academic writing, literature, or multilateral policy analysis. A deep understanding of the UAE\'s sector and a keen interest in foreign policy and the Middle East, as well as its interaction with global politics, are essential. The ability to utilize the intricacies of the English language to effectively convey ideas and inform stakeholders is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce high-quality written content in English.

Collaborate with team members to conduct analysis.

Demonstrate the ability to write quickly and accurately.

Revise speeches and other texts prepared by various stakeholders to enhance structure and flow.

Ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment.

Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team.

In-depth knowledge of the Middle East, with familiarity of the UAE being advantageous.

Education and Experience:

Academic background in politics, international relations, multilateral institutions, or a related field.

Experience in academia, government, journalism, or publishing.

This is a role for an experienced candidate.

Working knowledge of Arabic is desirable but not mandatory for this role.
