Job Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the marine logistics sector with focus on the offshore oil and gas and the renewable sector.
- Gather and analyze data on competitors, customers, and market conditions to support business development, marketing, and sales efforts.
- Monitor industry news, publications, and regulatory updates to stay current on market developments and provide actionable insights to the organization.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models to predict future market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and pricing fluctuations within the oil and gas sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Finance, to provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making and initiatives.
- Create clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate research findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of market segmentation and targeting strategies to optimize the organization\'s market position and growth opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and sales campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of market research methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance the quality and accuracy of research findings.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization\'s services and value propositions to effectively analyze and interpret market data within the context of the oil and gas industry.
