To inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems on fleet tugs, pilot boats, and mooring boats.
To perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot electrical issues.
To install, test, and commission new electrical equipment.
To ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
To keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
To collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
To provide support on day and night shift to address and resolve technical issues promptly.
To maintain high standards of housekeeping in workshop and P&OML base.
To ensure all measurement equipment and tools are in working condition and available when required.
To carry out duties without direct supervision, when necessary, thereby ensuring smooth flow of marine operations.
Qualification & Experience
Class I or II Marine Electrician certification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
