Minimum bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering or holds a relevant professional qualification. Minimum 8+ years' experience in a techno management IT and/or business project management role with a widespread knowledge of IT. Good working experience in Project Management tools like EPM, MS Projects, etc. and in ERP tools like SAP. Knowledge and experience in principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation. Examples, but not limited to: PRINCE2, and PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) from the PMI - Project Management Institute. Possess knowledge of IT projects, business and business skills in more than one business sector and understands the significance of commercial constraints. Experience in applying specific quality standards to all tasks undertaken to ensure that deliverables are accurate and complete. Management or professional responsibility and has received training in data and business analysis methods and techniques. Demonstrate high standards of professional behavior in dealings with clients, colleagues and staff. Is familiar with the Qatargas IT strategy, policies and standards, and industry regulations/ constraints.

1) Create, manage, and maintain a robust set of reporting about demand and its influence and impact on the operating model.


2) Facilitate project investment appraisals, using an agreed investment appraisal approach and document decisions.


3) Produces planned and updated project, program, or portfolio reports, including cost breakdowns and summaries.


4) Provide administrative services to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings.


5) Report progress of the program/portfolio to senior management and ensure post-implementation plans and owners are in-place after go-live to ensure planned benefits are fully realized.


6) Provide detailed guidance on project management processes, procedures, tools, and techniques. Provides guidance on individual project proposals and plans.


7) Maintain spreadsheet and project management software to set up detailed work breakdown structures and project networks and produce planned and updated project and summary reports, including cost breakdowns and summaries.


8) Assist project control steering committees, project execution teams, and facilitate quality review meetings.


9) Administer project and program change control, to ensure that project deliverables are completed within agreed scope, cost, and time.


10) Maintain project performance metric data and estimating models and reviews models and recommends changes.
