Qualifications
Master's Degree in Management, Business Administration, Strategy or any relevant field.
Experience: (Technical, Functional, and/ or leadership experience required)
Minimum of 18 years of experience in strategy development, business planning and corporate
performance management.
Experience of working with public sector organizations in the GCC would be an added advantage.
Job Summary
Responsible to manage, oversee, ensure, develop and execute the strategic plan for Mada.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic
Develop and maintain Mada's strategy that encompasses KPIs, initiatives, programs and
organisational targets.
Ensure implementation of the strategic plans by establishing strategic performance measures.
Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including fundraising objectives,
donor selection criteria, long-term strategic donors and respective engagement models.
Operational
Manage initiatives relating to research and development work including strategy, feasibility, market
analysis, and revenue generation and maximization studies while managing service providers and
ensuring quality output.
Own Mada's strategy and lead efforts related to updating it in line with assessment and analytical
studies while reflecting changes to strategic objectives, KPIs and organizational targets.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of new initiative development opportunities that cater for achieving
Mada's strategic aspirations
Ensure the effectiveness of the Impact and Performance Assessment database/ dashboard and
the timely update of same by the team.
Manage the overall monitoring and reporting on the performance of programs, initiatives, and
operations against set objectives and KPIs in conjunction with other stakeholders.
Recommend improvements or changes to the strategy driven by the market analysis and insights
gathered by the strategy & sustainability team.
Manage revenue generation and fundraising strategies, and monitor the implementation of plans
in line with Mada's needs and requirements to support in achieving financial sustainability goals.
Prepare the annual strategy report for the CEO and Board review and approval as well as other
periodic reports in collaboration with Mada's Directors.
Ensure all processes are documented and digitalised.

Performance
- Manage and monitor the performance of the department in line with Mada's business objectives. - Assess the performance of direct report, providing them with regular formal and informal
feedback; ensure team members are engaged with a view to enhance overall team performance. - Ensure compliance with the performance management process and its linkages to learning and
development, compensation, promotion, career development and succession planning. - Assess the effectiveness of performance management to ensure section heads and employees
are trained in goal setting, feedback and the evaluation process.
People
Manage team performance and oversee linkages with compensation, promotion, career and succession planning.
Address and seek resolution for all matters of direct reports and provide guidance on escalations for all employees within the organisation.
