Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Senior Pipeline Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas upstream industry. Successful candidate must perform below duties
Direct and supervise a team of relevant discipline engineers
Reviewing pipeline alignment sheets
Review and supervise pipeline design basis and stress analysis
Review Pig launcher and receiver units and design , etc
Responsible for providing expertise and ensures the application of correct standards in all FEED / EPC deliverables in the design and development of projects associated with Oil and Gas processing, production and export
Develop actively the local staff to fulfill engineers and managing role
Know the environmental aspects (ISO14001) of oil and gas design
Know the safety aspects of design in relation to the project cycle (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, HAZAN, IPF classification methodology and implementation, reliability studies, Fire and Gas mapping and risk analysis techniques)
Prepare RFQ (request for quotation) technical packages for pipelines related scopes
Prepare engineering, construction and material estimation, schedule, resource planning and update resource capacity planning half-yearly
Provide first class engineering in one or more of the following fields; risers, subsea pipelines, landfalls, subsea manifolds, piping design and subsea pipeline
Be familiar with working with construction engineers and installation schemes
Skills / Qualifications
A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in relevant engineering from an accredited university with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the offshore upstream subsea pipeline design in Oil and Gas and Marine industry
Must have at least three years of experience in similar position for international major Oil and Gas / Marine projects
