Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Senior Mechanical Engineer (Static, Packages and Rotating) with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry to be based on ADNOC Offshore project. Successful candidate will be responsible for below duties;
Review of Mechanical Equipment Specifications and updating the Specifications in line with latest international design codes
Prepare and check equipment specifications and datasheets
Preparation of mechanical design documentation for tendering and procurement
Package management including review and approval of vendor documents
Defining equipment test requirements and review of test procedures
Preparation of mechanical design documentation for tendering and procurement
Package management and review of vendor document review
Skills / Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institute (or equivalent)
Min. 15 years of relevant experience in the design, specification, testing, installation and commissioning of Rotating, Static and Packages equipments
Fully conversant with international design codes
Experience in defining equipment test requirements and review of test procedures
Should be pragmatic, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative
Able to present and write technical reports in fluent English
Expected to take ownership of issues and follow them through to completion
Willingness to interact directly with people
Good presentation skills
Ability to work in an organised and structured fashion, and within time constraints
