Job Description

Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry to be based on ADNOC Offshore project. Successful candidate will be responsible for below duties;

+ Review of Mechanical Equipment Specifications and updating the Specifications in line with latest international design codes

+ Prepare and check equipment specifications and datasheets

+ Preparation of mechanical design documentation for tendering and procurement

+ Package management including review and approval of vendor documents

+ Defining equipment test requirements and review of test procedures

+ Preparation of mechanical design documentation for tendering and procurement

+ Package management and review of vendor document review

+ Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institute (or equivalent)

+ Min. 15 years of relevant experience in the design, specification, testing, installation and commissioning of the following equipment: Pressure Vessels, Air Cooler, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers

+ Fully conversant with international design codes for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and storage tanks

+ Proficient in static equipment design software for mechanical design

+ Experience in defining equipment test requirements and review of test procedures

+ Should be pragmatic, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative.

+ Able to present and write technical reports in fluent English.

+ Expected to take ownership of issues and follow them through to completion.

+ Willingness to interact directly with people.

+ Good presentation skills.

+ Ability to work in an organised and structured fashion, and within time constraints.
