Job Description

Principal challenge is to lead cross functional teams to achieve project goals according to Aptiv procedures. You will lead and co-ordinates all activities related to Product- & Process-development in a Project / Program from end of Flow-3 to beginning of Flow-5 (CT gate)

Responsibilities:

The Junior Program Manager is required to perform the following functions:

Accountable for flawless execution of assigned projects and deliverables

Coordinate project related activities and provide leadership/direction to the Project Team and other appropriate associates to meet the program targets.

Assure proper planning, execution and problem escalation for successful execution of the projects' deliverables.

Assume responsibility for assuring synchronization between operational activities, project- process-steps and other functional activities related to the program to ensure Flawless start of production.

Coordinate that all related activities with Pilots and Prototype build are properly conducted and the respective delivery targets from the customer are met.

Support and ensure an up-to-date reporting and keep the Plant Manager, the Regional Head of Programs & Regional EMEA Staff well informed on progress toward achievements and identified barriers to progress.

Assure the identification of significant issues/risk items within the Program Team and their escalation to the Operations Team, Program Team and/or Steering Committee.

Assure development of solutions and action plans for issues/ risk items together with operations team and program team.

Lead the Program Team Meetings and participate in other appropriate Meetings as required.

Implement best practices and Lessons Learned from other projects

Achieve program related FLM targets

Assist and insure good progress of internal/external / customer audits Your Background:

Master degree in Engineering

Minimum 5 years' experience in Project coordination

Documented leadership, team oriented work experience and strong communication skills

Strong understanding of Automotive/Industry Standards.
