Plumbing Foreman - Infrastructure (UAE)

The Plumbing Foreman is responsible for supervising and executing plumbing and utility works on infrastructure projects in the UAE, including water supply networks, sewerage, stormwater drainage, pumping stations, and utility corridors. The role ensures compliance with UAE authority regulations, project specifications, safety standards, and approved drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage plumbing and utility crews on infrastructure projects Execute water supply, sewer, drainage, and utility pipeline works Read and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, and method statements Ensure work compliance with UAE authorities such as DEWA, ADDC, ADSSC, DM, DMT, RTA, and project consultants Plan daily work activities and allocate manpower and equipment Oversee excavation, trenching, shoring, pipe laying, jointing, and backfilling Ensure proper installation of HDPE, DI, GRP, uPVC, and steel pipelines Conduct pressure testing, leakage testing, flushing, disinfection, and commissioning Coordinate with civil, electrical, mechanical teams, and subcontractors Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards, toolbox talks, and permit requirements Manage materials, fittings, valves, chambers, and site tools Maintain daily progress reports, manpower logs, and inspection requests Support inspections with consultants and authority inspectors Assist engineers with as-built drawings and handover documentation
Qualifications & Experience

ITI / Diploma in Plumbing or relevant technical qualification Trade certification in plumbing (preferred) Minimum 3-8 years' experience in infrastructure projects within the UAE or GCC Strong knowledge of UAE authority standards and approval processes Experience in water, sewer, and drainage network construction Ability to lead multicultural workforces
