Civil Foreman (infrastructure Works)

Job Description
The Civil Foreman (Infrastructure Works) is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily site activities of infrastructure construction works, including excavation, Cable laying. The role involves ensuring that work is completed on schedule, within scope and budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the execution of infrastructure works such as:excavation and cable laying works Coordinate daily site activities and workforce management Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and work method statements Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and in good condition Monitor productivity and ensure works meet the required quality standards Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, safety officers, and subcontractors Ensure compliance with project schedules and reporting progress regularly Maintain safety protocols and report near-misses or incidents immediately Resolve site issues and escalate unresolved problems to the site engineer Keep daily records of work done, workforce deployed, and material used
Requirements:
Education:
Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferred)Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure and utility worksSkills:
Strong understanding of infrastructure construction techniques Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Leadership and team coordination skills Basic knowledge of surveying and levels Good communication and reporting skills
