Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced

Plumbing BIM Modeler

to join our MEP team in

Abu Dhabi

. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of

3 years of hands-on experience

in BIM modeling of plumbing systems and hold a

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

. You will be responsible for developing and managing detailed 3D models of plumbing systems for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects, ensuring coordination with other trades and compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and manage accurate and detailed 3D plumbing models using

Autodesk Revit

. Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and fabrication details from BIM models. Coordinate with other MEP disciplines and civil/architectural teams to detect and resolve clashes using

Navisworks Manage

. Implement and follow project-specific

BIM Execution Plans

and company BIM standards. Collaborate with engineers and design teams to ensure technical accuracy and constructability. Incorporate redline markups, design changes, and field updates into the BIM model. Maintain model integrity throughout design and construction phases. Participate in coordination and design review meetings, both internally and with consultants/contractors.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of proven experience in plumbing BIM modeling within the MEP sector.

Software Proficiency:

Autodesk Revit (Advanced level) Navisworks Manage AutoCAD BIM 360 (preferred) Strong understanding of plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, venting, and fire protection). Familiarity with international and local plumbing codes (IPC, UPC, ADCD standards). Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working on high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, or infrastructure projects in the UAE/GCC region. Knowledge of LOD standards, COBie data entry, and model-based quantity take-off. Exposure to clash detection reports and BIM coordination platforms.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
