Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and water pressure problems.
Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems using air and water pressure gauges.
Assemble, install, and repair water heaters, pumps, and other plumbing-related appliances.
Collaborate with construction teams and other trades to ensure plumbing systems meet all building codes and regulations.
