Plumber Technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems. Their roles and responsibilities are related to water supply and drainage systems. Generally, AC technicians perform the following tasks:
Perform routine PPM & inspections of plumbing systems to identify and address potential issues.
Perform CM/EM repairs on leaks, clogs, or damaged pipes and fixtures.
Use diagnostic tools to identify the source of plumbing problems.
Troubleshoot issues in water supply and drainage systems.
Weld or solder pipes and fittings to create secure connections.
Use appropriate techniques to join different types of pipes, such as copper, PVC, PPR, HDPE or steel.
Trouble shoot issues in plumbing fixtures, including sinks, faucets, toilets, showers, and water heaters.
Ensure proper alignment and functionality of fixtures.
Maintain water treatment systems, such as water softeners or filtration systems.
Address issues related to water quality.
Respond to emergency plumbing calls, such as burst pipes or severe leaks.
Work efficiently to resolve urgent plumbing issues.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures.
Use proper tools and equipment's to increase productivity.
Communicate with the supervisor the PL/DR system issues and explain necessary repairs or maintenance material requirements to arrange.
Provide information on repairs and discuss potential upgrades or improvements to the supervisor.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including service reports, repair logs, and parts used.
Document plumbing system configurations for future reference.
