About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Plastic Sheet and Mechanical Recycling Supervisor to oversee daily production operations at our Jebel Ali manufacturing facility. The role involves supervising plastic sheet extrusion and mechanical recycling processes, ensuring efficient production, quality consistency, equipment performance, and compliance with safety standards.

This position requires hands-on technical knowledge, strong leadership skills, and experience in plastic extrusion and recycling operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day operations of plastic sheet extrusion and mechanical recycling lines Monitor production parameters including output, yield loss, scrap levels, and quality consistency Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of extrusion lines, shredders, crushers, and recycling equipment Coordinate raw material feeding, scrap segregation, reprocessing, and recycling workflows Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality and cost efficiency Implement and enforce safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and compliance requirements Lead, train, and manage machine operators and technicians across shifts Work closely with production planning, maintenance, and quality teams Maintain daily production reports, downtime records, and material consumption data Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency enhancement

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Plastics, Polymer, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in plastic sheet extrusion and mechanical recycling operations Strong knowledge of plastic materials such as PP, PE, PS, ABS, PMMA, and recycled polymers Hands-on experience with extrusion lines, shredders, crushers, grinders, and recycling systems Good understanding of yield loss, material flow, and recycling quality control Ability to manage shop-floor teams and coordinate multi-shift operations Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Familiarity with safety standards and factory best practices Experience working in UAE or GCC manufacturing environments is an advantage
