We are seeking a Plastic Recycling and Sheet Operator to support daily production activities at our manufacturing facility in Jebel Ali. The role involves operating plastic sheet extrusion lines and mechanical recycling equipment, ensuring smooth production, quality output, and safe working practices.
This is a hands-on position suited for candidates with practical experience in plastics processing and factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate plastic sheet extrusion machines and recycling equipment as per production requirements
Handle shredders, crushers, grinders, and material feeding systems
Load raw materials and recycled scrap according to specifications
Monitor machine parameters such as temperature, speed, pressure, and output
Assist in maintaining product quality and minimizing scrap and yield loss
Perform basic troubleshooting and report machine issues to the supervisor
Ensure proper segregation and handling of recyclable materials and waste
Carry out routine cleaning, housekeeping, and workplace safety practices
Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety guidelines
Support maintenance activities during line changeovers and shutdowns
Requirements
ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in plastic sheet extrusion or mechanical recycling operations
Basic knowledge of plastic materials such as PP, PE, PC, ABS, PMMA, or recycled polymers
Experience working with extrusion lines, shredders, crushers, or recycling machines
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Physically fit and comfortable working in a factory environment
Willingness to work shifts as per production requirements
Experience in UAE or GCC manufacturing facilities is an advantage
