Our client is global manufacturer of complex technical systems within the automotive industry. As a Plant Controller in the UAE, you will play a crucial role in the company's ongoing growth by closely collaborating with local production facilities to significantly improve the overall financial performance.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Supervise, conduct and implement financial activities for our clients plant in the UAE
- Collaborate closely with Plant Managers to improve financial performance by conducting analyses and processing data
- Develop methodologies to assess financial performance, with a focus on cost reduction measures
- Conduct comprehensive reviews and creating updated reporting and planning structures for production plants
- Evaluate current financial department operational policies and practices to drive continuous improvement in all financial matters
- Manage budgeting, financial data analysis, record-keeping, and financial reporting to senior management
- Coordinate investment activities and personnel planning
- Analyze the financial impact of significant business operational issues and decisions, as well as sales, P&L, and balance sheet analyses
- Regularly review accounting entries for accuracy and timeliness while maintaining strict confidentiality of operational, financial, and business information
- Communicate financial and other KPI information to all decision-making levels within the company
- Coordinate with all departments to analyze, evaluate, and report appropriate data points
- Reporting directly to the Senior Management
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- A university degree in finance and controlling or a related field
- At least five years of experience as a Controller in a multinational business environment
- Strong expertise in cost and business controlling within a manufacturing context
- Prior experience working in the Middle East is advantageous
- Exceptional analytical skills and a deep understanding of controlling tools
- Excellent proficiency in MS-Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, additional knowledge of SAP is desirable
- Ability to manage multiple projects, workflows, and prioritize competing needs under pressure
- Mandatory fluency in English language with confident communication and presentation skills
- A proactive, team-oriented individual with a hands-on approach
