Job Description
- The Planning Section Head is in charge of leading activities related to system planning, with a particular emphasis on assessing and monitoring the Emirate\'s supply security, as well as reviewing and overseeing the development and implementation of mid-long term electricity and water production plans.
- Review and approval of EWEC\'s Week 7 Demand Forecast and associated analysis. Produce and monitor a 7-year demand and supply outlook for power, water, and gas.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual system outlook report and manage the annual and mid-term assessment and monitoring of challenges to the Sector\'s energy security of supply and continuity of service, including provision of recommendations on strategies and measures to mitigate any such challenges
- Support development and system integration of new production facilities and the new nuclear and renewable energy program.
