Job Description

I am seeking a Planning Manager to join a Project Management Consultancy in Riyadh, KSA. Youll be working for a world leading PMC to deliver complex Mega Projects including: Luxury Retail and supporting Infrastructure works for the entire Masterplan Development. Responsibilities: * The planning Manager should make sure that (as a minimum) all planning and scheduling Requirements included in the Contractors contract are fulfilled per the contract, in addition, it is also their responsibility to ensure that the Planning/Scheduling industry standards are also implemented to what best serves the Project benefit as agreed by Client. * Create and issue a monthly overall Project report on the 2nd of every month (or the working day after if 2nd is a holiday), which includes updated information (progress, cost, risks, quality etc.) for all Contractors, Consultants, authorities, Client and other stakeholders works, and create reporting dashboard format to be agreed with Client. * Projects are dynamic and constantly changing; the Client has the right to make (reasonable) modifications to Planning Requirements to suit any changes or special requirements that might arise. * Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place * Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor. Experience: * 15+ years of post:graduate experience in the Planning / Project Controls field. Solid experience in using P6 and Similar Projects. * Professional qualification (e.g., APM, MSP. PPC, etc.). * Experience in delivering complex Mega Projects above 50mln USD in the Lead Planner role from the start through to completion. * Experience in analyses of complex EOT claims on Mega Projects with value more than 50 mln USD. Strong claims analysis and forensic analyses skills. * Expert user of Primavera P6 min. Ver. 6.2 or R8.1. and Microsoft Project. * Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, One Note), PMIS/ACONEX and other Project Management/Administration Software. * Experience in CPM networks, resource and cost loading and risk management techniques. Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis Using Primavera Risk Analysis. * Ability effectively monitor and analyse progress, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions. * Hands:on working knowledge of WBS coding structure, cost /schedule variance analysis, Earned Value Management (EVMS), project trend, contract change and claims. Working knowledge of Time Impact Analysis techniques. Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
