Planning Manager, Abu Dhabi

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join our clients established team in Abu Dhabi. As a key member of their construction team, you will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, and monitoring to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning software packages and at least 10 years of experience in construction planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Utilize planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and other relevant tools to track progress and identify risks.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to optimize project schedules.
- Provide detailed progress reports, critical path analysis, and delay impact assessments.
- Implement best practices for project controls and scheduling.
- Support claims and variations analysis with accurate planning data.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling within the construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other relevant planning software.
- Experience working for a construction consultancy is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
