Duties and responsibilities
Support daily site planning activities, contributing to the preparation and updating of work schedules under the guidance of the Planning team.
Assist with collecting and verifying physical progress data on site, working alongside site managers and subcontractors.
Participate in evaluating the feasibility of construction schedules based on document deliveries and material availability.
Collaborate with the Material Control team to ensure alignment between supply chain and project plans.
Help draft weekly and monthly progress reports, following Project Control guidelines.
Actively engage in specialized training sessions covering planning, scheduling, software, and project control procedures.
Support the preparation of progress curves, manpower histograms, and resource analyses, developing technical skills through practical and theoretical mentoring.
Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
Degree, preferably in engineering (civil, industrial, management and similar) or equivalent.
Experience
Work experience between 0 and 12 months; short internships or traineeships will also be considered.
Strong motivation to learn and keen interest in project planning and controls within the construction sector.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar) is an advantage.
