Planning Engineer
Job Description
A Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure timely completion of engineering or construction projects. They coordinate with project teams to track progress, analyze delays, and implement corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using planning software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather progress updates
Analyze schedule deviations and recommend mitigation plans
Assist in resource allocation and project forecasting
Prepare reports on project status, milestones, and potential risks
Ensure projects meet deadlines, budget, and quality standards
Participate in project meetings and communicate planning information to stakeholders
