We are seeking an experienced

Planning Engineer

to join our construction team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in

high-rise building projects in the UAE

, excellent knowledge of project planning tools, and the ability to manage schedules, progress reporting, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, monitor, and update

project schedules, baselines, and work programs

in accordance with project requirements. Prepare and maintain detailed project timelines using

Primavera P6

(mandatory). Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure accurate progress tracking. Conduct regular site visits to gather progress data and verify work completion status. Generate

weekly and monthly progress reports

, including manpower histograms, S-curve charts, productivity analysis, and variance reports. Analyze project delays, identify critical paths, and propose corrective and recovery actions when required. Assist in preparation of

EOT (Extension of Time)

claims with proper documentation and justifications. Review project drawings, specifications, procurement schedules, and contract requirements to ensure accurate planning deliverables. Monitor resource allocation, equipment planning, and material schedules to ensure alignment with project targets. Support management with forecasting, risk assessment, and performance monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering

or related field.

5-7 years of UAE experience in Planning Engineering

--high-rise / towers experience is mandatory*.
Proficiency in

Primavera P6

(mandatory) and MS Project. Strong understanding of UAE construction workflows, sequencing, methodology, and procurement timelines. Knowledge of contract management and delay analysis (FIDIC experience preferred). Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
