Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Project Planner

to support the successful delivery of complex construction and engineering projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for reviewing contractor schedules, identifying potential project risks, and providing data-driven recommendations to keep the project on track.

Key Responsibilities

Review and approve the Contractor's Baseline Schedule, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and Dutch Recommended Practices. Assess the adequacy of project resources to meet timelines and milestones. Analyze progress updates to monitor scheduling accuracy and highlight deviations. Identify risks, delays, and critical issues early; recommend mitigation strategies or corrective actions. Perform "What-If" scenario planning to assess the impact of potential changes or disruptions. Advise on proactive alternatives before changes are implemented or instructions are issued. Prepare and submit detailed weekly and monthly progress reports, including data analysis and recommendations. Validate progress claims to support monthly payment approvals. Coordinate with the client to finalize schedules, progress reports, and claims. Attend planning and progress review meetings as required. Develop and maintain trackers/logs to monitor key issues across design and construction phases. Create and maintain manpower/equipment histograms, look-ahead schedules, S-curves, and related project controls documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning or scheduling roles. Strong proficiency in

Primavera P6

and

Microsoft Project

. Demonstrated experience conducting time impact and window analyses using Primavera.
