JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled
Planning Engineer
with hands-on experience in
Primavera P6
and 3-5 years of UAE construction industry background. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely execution in line with project goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
Monitor project progress and update schedules based on actual performance.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure alignment with plans.
Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and look-ahead schedules.
Identify potential delays and recommend mitigation strategies.
Assist in resource planning, cost loading, and baseline program submissions.
Ensure compliance with contractual timeframes and client requirements.
Support in extension of time (EOT) analysis and claims documentation.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
3-5 years of relevant UAE experience as a Planning Engineer.
Proficiency in
Primavera P6
and MS Project.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, project sequencing, and resource management.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
Familiarity with local authority requirements and industry standards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
