JOB TITLE: PLANNING ENGINEER - INSTRUMENT

Working Hours: 06:30 to 18:30 (7-days a week)

Salary: AED 12,000 per month + Offshore Allowance
Qualification (minimum): Bachelors in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
Experience (minimum): 10 - 12 years of relevant maintenance experience of which at least 5 years in Oil & Gas industry as a planning engineer in I&C maintenance
& Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of the annual maintenance budgets in coordination with respective OP MA section for all equipment and facilities within Mubarraz Island, Mubarraz Oil Field, AR Site Terminal & HAIL, annual production, and maintenance plans.
• Analysing historical data/reports, assessing current asset conditions, forecasting future maintenance needs and market trend to develop accurate budgets.
• Collaborate closely with respective OPMA section to prioritize expenditures, optimize resource allocation, determine material cost, labour cost and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• By ensuring cost-effective financial planning contribute to optimizing asset performance and enhancing operational reliability.
• Develop the following maintenance planning items in close coordination with the respective OP MA sections under the direction of Instrument section head. Daily, weekly, and monthly plans and reports, Medium Term Maintenance Planning. Annual Work schedule Planning. Work Request Planning and Action tracking system planning etc
• Effective management and allotment of all PM, CM, PdM, and CbM items in accordance with the criticality of the in-hand works
• Effectively plan for routine/planned activities and issue work order to the respective PI-MA section for smooth implementation of works.
• Effectively manage maintenance records (History, reports, technical references, OEM documents etc.)
• Utilize project management tools to track progress against milestones and KPIs. Monitor stock and usage levels of spares, consumables, and materials to ensure that items are available to meet requirements and communicate status to respective PI-MA section to facilitate timely replenishment of stocks.
• Warehouse Inventory: Monitoring of available Spare and ensure Maintaining of Min Max Items in Warehouse to meet all the requirements. Any additional materials identified in work order closing to be included in the inventory items.
• Annual Review: Check the stock available annually to assess inventory levels, monitor fluctuations in supply and demand, and advise procurement strategies accordingly.
• Monitor the status of material procurement process to meet the timely execution of planned works. Follow-up within the section and purchasing department for expediting the respective section action towards smooth process of overall material management.
