Gulf Overseas HR Consultancy is urgently hiring for a Planning Engineer (Oil and Gas experience)

Job Responsibilities:

Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 in line with project timelines and client requirements. Prepare and maintain the Planning Package for control system upgrade and shutdown projects. Track project progress and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports. Develop, update, and monitor shutdown schedules, coordinating with site teams to ensure timely completion. Conduct delay analysis and provide impact assessments with recommendations for recovery plans. Support project controls activities, including earned value analysis and forecasting. Prepare and update cost tracking reports and assist in overall project budgeting. Provide planning and scheduling inputs for tender preparation and bidding support. Interface with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations, and industry best practices.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechanical preferred). 7+ years of experience in project planning and controls, with focus on E&I and control system upgrade/retrofit projects in Oil & Gas. Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory). Strong knowledge of project controls, including scheduling, cost control, and delay analysis. Experience in shutdown/turnaround planning and reporting. Familiarity with tendering processes and preparation of planning deliverables for bids. Strong communication and reporting skills, with ability to interact with both management and client teams. Knowledge of industry standards, project execution practices, and contract requirements.
