Manage and provide leadership for Electrical & Instrument Turnaround Planning Team consisting of 4 professionally qualified experienced Planning Engineers and 1 Scheduler for all ADGAS assets (3 LNG Trains, 2 OAG Trains + 3 IGD Trains)
Formulate, Develop, Implement professional Planning and Scheduling Techniques to ensure lower downtime & higher plant availability
Provide coordination skills and promote interdisciplinary understanding to ensure smooth and flawless execution of works on plant facilities
Develop, Maintain and Update Monthly Look Ahead and provide management with a clear and detailed picture for the next 3, 6, 12 months
Develop, Enhance, Improve Planning and Scheduling work procedures
Monitor and Report Key Performance Metrics monthly
Conduct E/I related Biweekly Planning Meeting addressing key issues, concerns and resolution. Issue MOM and maintain follow up
Provide guidance and Technical Planning Support for all subordinates & Planned turnarounds
Maintain a database of all Major Turnaround related work for Major TA Team and Maintenance Division
Responsible for all internal audit requirements including follow up and completion of Audit Recommendations
Maintain a database of all Planned outages of individual equipment for Knowledge Management and Improvement of Maintenance Planning Techniques
Assist in troubleshooting plant problems, recommend and guide rectifications.
Undertakes planning, pre engineering function of all aspects, covering E&I Site / CWS planning activities for Major overhauls / project work
Liaises with Operations and Maintenance personnel in identifying the work content of planning and maintenance programs and prepares resource estimates for submission to TA Management and advises Management of possible shortfalls or potential problem areas
Should be well acquainted with planning Tools & Scheduling packages Primavera P6 and SAP for Major overhaul projects
Monitors and coordinates progress during the work execution on both site / CWS and using computer facilities available (Primavera Planning System & SAP Maintenance System), updates work progress and prepares Management Reports as required. Reports potential problem areas and recommends corrective actions &mitigation plans.
Must be fully familiar with the plant Instrument Maintenance jobs in overhauling of Electronic & pneumatic Instruments, including control valves , Bentley Nevada Vibration Monitoring System, Anti-surge valves and ESD shutdown valves
Familiar with DCS, PLCs and Compressor related Instrumentation
Must be fully familiar with the plant Electrical Maintenance jobs in overhauling of Motors & switch Gears, Transformers, etc.
Able to identify Materials required for E&I equipment and make reservations against related work orders in SAP
Should have full working knowledge of Instrument & Electrical procedures and be able to write / produce \xe2\x80\x98Method Statements, Overhaul Procedures, QA/QC Documentation (Relative to Shutdown Tasks), Prepare Task risk Assessments
Be able to read Electrical Drawings, Hook Ups, loop Drawings, Piping Iso\xe2\x80\x99s and Understand P&ID\xe2\x80\x99s
Monitor E&I activities in respected areas of LNG Plant, co-ordinate and report progress to management during work execution on daily basis
Ensure E&I supervisors understand the Work-scope and requirements for the Process Train and have the ability to impart knowledge relative to these tasks
Understand Hazardous Area Zones & the correct Electrical equipment certification for use in these areas. Understand the difference between, Intrinsically safe, Flameproof and Explosion Proof
Prepares mobilisation and demobilisation schedules for overhaul / project scope to be issued to contractor. Assists in the preparation of any administrative system to provide timesheet facilities for contract personnel involved in the major maintenance
Prepares post execution analysis report on completion of major overhauls / major maintenance work indicating areas of concern and offering recommendations
Liaise with Operational and turnaround divisions to ensure minimum disruption to the plant facilities and provide feedback on ongoing works on a regular basis
Produce end of Job Report detailing all required information including cost analysis, Planned and actual man-hours comparison, recommendations for future history etc.
Participate in HAZOPs, technical reviews, Risk Assessment, Safety Audits, Modifications

Requirements
Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
15 years of total experience in maintenance and Planning of Instrument and electrical equipment associated with the oil refining or Petro-Chemical industry, minimum 10 of which should have been in maintenance and turnaround in a Senior Management capacity.
Experience of Instrument condition monitoring will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of spoken and written English, with capability of writing technical reports. Good Communications Skills
