KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with the EHS Team, Client, and Contractor to examine potential health and safety issues and assist with controls. Reviewing contractor performance and the Effectiveness of control against applicable laws, regulations, and district requirements. Developing HSE reports such as site safety inspection report, monthly & weekly statistical report, training report, incident/accident report etc. Conducting audit to ensure all safety requirements are in place and implemented according to Plan. Reviewing method statement, HSE Documents and risk assessment for every activity prior to work commencement . Ability to deliver safety practices to ensure zero injury, zero risk, and zero harm Assisting the project team in the Risk Management process (i.e. HAZID, Risk Assessment and HAZOP, etc.). Understanding project specifications and developing time schedules and budgets that meet them. Negotiating with vendors and contractors to secure the best prices. Observing existing processes, analyzing staff performance, and addressing deficiencies accordingly Monitoring and tracking project progress, and writing up reports. Attending and scheduling meetings as required. Delegating tasks and ensuring workers receive feedback. Understanding and meeting all contract requirements. Communicating with managers, supervisors, and the rest of the team. Analyzing technical drawings and providing material and cost estimates. Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budgets. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum 7 years of experience as Planning Engineer Proficient in Primavera 6 software Proficiency in MS Office.
