Position: Planner - Maintenance Planning Published on: 15/02/2024 Overview

The Maintenance Planner will monitor aircraft flow charts with production control and maintenance sections to meet daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance planning objectives. Responsibilities include coordinating with the material planning section to ensure availability of tools, equipment, POL, and aircraft parts for scheduled inspections, expediting resources during unscheduled maintenance, performing trend analysis on spare parts consumption, and coordinating with logistics and technical teams regarding spare parts status. The role involves analyzing flying hour programs, maintenance schedules, environmental conditions, hardware order/delivery schedules, and mean time between failure/overhaul data to adjust spare parts levels, maintaining inventory of PLL & TBO parts, monitoring shelf life and failure rates, and providing stock level recommendations. Additional responsibilities include:

Ensuring parts, tools, equipment, and POL are available for maintenance. Coordinating daily with maintenance teams on spare parts and tools requirements. Conducting meetings with material planning and technical teams on order statuses and urgent requirements. Creating PLL lists for new aircrafts to meet maintenance schedules. Planning spares for TBO/SB items for assigned aircraft. Creating and updating part numbers, setting stock levels, and managing inventory to prevent AOGs. Researching and identifying new or modified spare parts from IPC or OEM materials. Coordinating deployment kits and requirements with maintenance teams. Presenting deployment kit lists for approval. Assisting in procurement processes. Identifying obsolete spare parts and assessing their applicability. Preparing reports as requested by planning and logistics managers. Reconciliation of aircraft log books related to maintenance planning. Coordinating deployment requests with logistics and maintenance units. #J-18808-Ljbffr
