Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules (Primavera P6/MS Project) for railway construction and systems works.

Collect and verify daily/weekly progress data from site teams, subcontractors, and engineering departments to update the project program accurately.

Generate regular P6 progress updates, S-curves, histograms, and earned-value reports reflecting actual vs. planned progress.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to collect progress data and update the master program.

Monitor project performance against the baseline schedule, identify delays/risks, and propose mitigation measures.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and look-ahead programs for management and clients.

Ensure compliance with railway authority requirements and interface with stakeholders regarding planning and scheduling issues.

Support claims, extension of time (EOT), and delay analysis by providing accurate planning data.

Assist in resource planning, manpower forecasting, and cash-flow analysis in line with project requirements.

Facilitate coordination meetings to align project stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of railway-related milestones.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 reporting (layouts, filters, progress updates, earned value, S-curve generation) and MS Project.

Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and delay-analysis methodologies.

Familiarity with interface management in railway projects (civil, track, signaling, telecom, E&M systems).

Good command of Excel and Power BI for data visualization and progress dashboards is an advantage.
