Job Description

Our start-up pizza company, headquartered in one of the free zone areas in Dubai, is looking for a talented and committed Pizza Head Chef who specializes Neopolitan pizza as an addition to our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Manages the kitchen team with some administrative functions from time to time
• Creates pizza menu and suggests other recipes to draw in more customers
• Prepares and stores pizza dough and other relevant ingredients
• Manages kitchen stocks, maintains inventory and prepares budget to ensure profitable food cost
• Teaches new kitchen staff and prepares them for the specific roles they will do
• Ensures that the standard and quality of food production and hygiene is maintained at the highest level at all times
• Be available for functions as they arise to ensure that food preparation and the overall kitchen operations will run smoothly
• Other ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of proven experience as Head Chef/Chef in sourdough Neopolitan pizza
• Has an initiative and is creative in making a menu with recipes that can draw customers in
• Has the ability to manage and motivate a team, resolve conflicts in a constructive manner and solve problems that may arise
• Has an excellent communication skills
• Punctual, organized, trustworthy and keen to details
• Has an administrative experience with inventory controls, food costing, scheduling, and the like.
• Can start as soon as possible
