Key Responsibilities

• A driven, professional and confident Pizza Chef with a proven track record working within the luxury hospitality sector
  
• Culinary professional with a passion for creating delicious Italian dishes
  
• Responsible for sourcing fresh and authentic ingredients
  
• Someone who can blend traditional Italian culinary methods with innovative cooking styles
  
• Recognizes superior quality Italian products, presentations, and flavor
  
• Undertake food preparation and cooking on a day-to-day basis in a kitchen section directed by the Head Chef or Sous Chef, and monitor closely the requirements for mise-en-place to ensure that the station is ready for service
  
• Maintain at all times, a sufficient level of food items to ensure an uninterrupted flow of food during the service period whilst controlling food quality, consistency, presentation and taste
  
• Ensure kitchen and food preparation areas are entirely clean when left unattended
  
• Prepare and properly garnish food orders as they are received in accordance with recipes and proper plate presentation
  
• Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
  
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation
  
• Work efficiently to control wastage of food and non- food items
  
• Work within operational standards to ensure the kitchen and food preparation process remain within FIVE and Municipality guidelines
