Piping Lead Engineer - Offshore EPC and Renewable Energy Projects
Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Piping Lead Engineer to take full ownership of piping engineering scopes on major offshore oil and gas and renewable energy projects. Based in Dubai, this full-time role involves leading design, coordination, and execution activities across FEED, detail engineering, and construction phases, particularly for FPSO, FSO, FPU, MOPU, and offshore substations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all assigned piping engineering work scopes from design through execution
• Support project teams developing offshore production facilities and renewable energy systems
• Plan, budget, and organize piping deliverables for project and tender execution
• Prepare detailed piping designs and documents across all project phases
• Ensure on-time, high-quality engineering deliverables while adhering to safety standards
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on piping-related queries and design issues
• Liaise with clients and coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams
• Collaborate across disciplines during design, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases
• Identify progress or quality issues and recommend timely corrective actions
• Capture and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement
• Estimate required manpower and material resources
• Oversee and mentor piping discipline staff to ensure compliance with project and company standards
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and technical training as needed
• Support engineering department initiatives and EPC project goals
• Willing to travel short or long term based on project requirements in or outside the UAE

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years of experience in design office or EPC environment handling FPSO, FSO, FPU, MOPU, or offshore substation projects
• Strong expertise in FEED design, FEED verification, and detail engineering within piping discipline
• Successfully delivered at least one 30,000 MT project during design phase
• Broad knowledge of offshore project execution, safety, and engineering coordination
• Proven ability to manage team resources, technical quality, and schedule adherence
