Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently looking for a Piping Construction Work Pack Engineer to strengthen our team in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Compilation of Piping discipline construction work packs
- Input to hydro-test work packs
- HSE input to construction work packs
- Provide constructability input into engineering design
- Provision of construction input to work packs to ensure a quality deliverable is produced
- Assure constructability aspects of design
- Shall have worked as a construction engineer or supervisor on onshore brownfield modifications work
- Shall be proficient in taking engineering design deliverables and developing the necessary construction input into a work pack, including preparation of job cards, HSE review/documentation and hydro-test input
- Knowledge of, and experience in using WPS system a distinct advantage
- Proficient in the use of Navisworks and Microsoft Office
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction work pack development in an O&G environment
- Time served with relevant experience or ONC / HNC or equivalent
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Fluent spoken and written English
