Key Responsibilities
:
Inspection Execution:
Conduct a full range of Quality Control (QC) inspections on pipeline, piping, and structural welding activities, including fit-up, in-process, and post-weld visual inspections.
NDT Coordination:
Coordinate and monitor all NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT, etc.) performed by subcontractors and review/interpret all NDT reports, ensuring acceptance criteria meet project specifications (ASME B31.3/B31.8, API 1104, etc.).
Welder/Procedure Qualification:
Witness and verify Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ) and Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) qualifications/validations in accordance with approved project procedures.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive, traceable, and detailed inspection records, generate Daily Inspection Reports (DIR), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and liaise with the Client (ADNOC) for formal sign-off at all Hold/Witness points.
Code Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to ADNOC CoP (Code of Practice), international standards (ASME, API, AWS), and local OSHAD regulations.
Safety Focus:
Promote a robust HSE culture, integrating quality checks with site safety practices, particularly in the high-risk offshore environment.
