Job Title: Pipe Fabricator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fabricator to join our team. The Pipe Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating and assembling various pipe systems according to specifications. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, with a strong understanding of blueprint reading, welding techniques, and various fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Pipe Fabrication:

Cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles. Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications. Fabricate pipe supports, hangers, and guides using appropriate materials and techniques.
Welding and Cutting:

Perform welding operations using various methods, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Use cutting tools, including plasma cutters, torches, and saws, to shape and prepare materials for fabrication.
Blueprint Reading and Interpretation:

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to accurately fabricate pipe systems. Ensure that all fabricated components meet the dimensional and quality requirements specified in the drawings.
Quality Control:

Inspect fabricated components to ensure they meet required standards and tolerances. Identify and correct any defects or errors in the fabrication process.
Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment. Maintain compliance with all company policies, industry standards, and local regulations.
Collaboration:

Work closely with other fabricators, welders, and project managers to complete projects on time and to specification. Provide feedback on fabrication processes to improve efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in pipe fabrication or welding preferred.

Skills:

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Strong welding skills, with experience in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick). Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment, including grinders, cutters, and measuring instruments. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments. Capable of standing, bending, and working in various positions for extended periods.
