Job Description

Responsible for designing and analyzing deep foundation systems, temporary and permanent retaining structures, and ground anchoring solutions for construction projects. They ensure stability, safety, and cost-effectiveness while complying with industry standards and regulations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Design & Analysis:

- Develops structural designs for piling, shoring, and anchoring systems.

- Performs geotechnical and structural analysis to ensure stability and performance.

- Utilizes engineering software for design calculations.

Technical Documentation & Reports:

- Prepares detailed design reports, drawings, and technical specifications.

- Reviews and approves construction drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Site Investigations & Assessments:

- Analyzes geotechnical reports and soil investigation data.

- Conducts site visits to assess ground conditions and provide technical recommendations.

Compliance & Standards:

- Ensures designs comply with relevant codes (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocodes, BS, IS, or local standards).

- Liaises with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals.

Collaboration & Coordination:

- Works closely with project managers, structural engineers, geotechnical engineers, and construction teams.

- Coordinates with contractors and consultants to resolve design-related issues.

Optimization & Innovation:

- Develop cost-effective and efficient design solutions.

- Research and apply new materials, methods, and technologies in foundation engineering.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or

Geotechnical Engineering.

Experience : At least 3-7 years of experience in foundation engineering, piling, or

geotechnical design.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in engineering design software (AutoCAD, PLAXIS, STAAD.Pro, LPILE, etc.).

- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, structural analysis, and foundation engineering principles.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
