Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Head of Physiotherapy (HOD)

to lead our physiotherapy department. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in

Inpatient (IP) care, Musculoskeletal (MSK), and Neurological Rehabilitation

, along with proven experience in team leadership, service development, and patient-centric care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities:

Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for

IP patients, MSK cases, and Neuro patients

. Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with best practices and patient needs. Oversee and guide complex clinical cases to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Leadership & Management:

Lead, supervise, and support a team of

5 physiotherapists

, ensuring optimal workflow and performance. Monitor team productivity, allocate caseloads, and conduct regular performance evaluations. Facilitate staff training, mentoring, and skill development programs. Coordinate departmental schedules, leave plans, and workload distribution.

Operational & Administrative Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth daily operations of the physiotherapy department. Maintain and update departmental policies, SOPs, and documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care. Prepare departmental reports, statistics, and improvement plans for management review. Drive initiatives to enhance service quality, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy. DHA eligibility or license (as applicable). Minimum

8-10 years of clinical experience

, with strong exposure to IP, MSK, and Neuro cases. Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly preferred. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with high professional standards.
