Job Summary

In this role as a

Physiotherapist

, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating the medical needs of our customers to develop adequate treatment plans. You will work with our customers to assist in practising exercises and physical therapy designed to ease pain and increase mobility. You will be well-versed in the study of physical therapy with a background in rehabilitating customers with illnesses or injuries. Your main objective as a physiotherapist is to improve the customer's quality of life, reduce pain and increase flexibility, strength and movement, using a range of physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques.

Responsibilities:

Review and evaluate customers through tests, movements, and conversations Able to administer a wide range of manipulation, exercises and treatments, including soft tissue massage, mobilisation and manipulation of muscles and joints, electrical stimulation, and applying heat and cold treatment Showing customers exercises that they can perform on their own at home (and correcting any incorrect posture/movements) Adjusting plans and prescribing new treatment, where necessary Create and implement treatment care plans tailored to each customer's needs Establish the customer's goals and benchmarks Schedule exercises and therapies for the customer Observe and review customer progress Assist and demonstrate proper stretches, techniques, exercise moves, and equipment uses Recommend specialists to customers who need additional medical attention Document customer medical progress and treatment; record notes to update medical conditions

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree Two years of experience working in a healthcare or physical rehabilitation setting Able to perform CPR or additional emergency procedures if needed Good interpersonal skills and communication Compassionate to customer needs and concerns Physical strength and stamina
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED7.00 per month
