Role Summary:

The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients with orthopedic, spine, sports, and musculoskeletal conditions. The role involves working closely with orthopedic surgeons, spine specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, functional, and mobility evaluations. Develop and implement tailored physiotherapy treatment plans based on diagnosis, medical reports, and patient goals. Utilize advanced equipment (Zimmer German physiotherapy devices and other technologies) for rehabilitation. Provide manual therapy, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, and other physiotherapy modalities as required. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes accurately. Educate patients and families on exercises, posture correction, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with orthopedic and spine surgeons to ensure integrated, multidisciplinary care. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations and clinic policies. Participate in continuous professional development and training to maintain high clinical standards. Contribute to patient satisfaction by providing empathetic, professional, and effective care.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution. Valid DHA license or eligibility as a Physiotherapist. Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in orthopedics, spine, or sports medicine. Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal rehabilitation and modern physiotherapy techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient management skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Fluency in English (or other languages is a plus).

Additional Responsibilities (if certified):

Perform advanced physiotherapy techniques such as:

Dry Needling

- for pain relief, muscle tightness, and trigger point therapy.

Cupping Therapy

- to improve circulation, reduce pain, and support recovery.

Medical Acupuncture

- for pain management, muscle relaxation, and holistic rehabilitation. Ensure all alternative/adjunct therapies are provided within DHA-approved guidelines and patient consent is obtained. Educate patients about the benefits, risks, and outcomes of these techniques. Document procedures and integrate them into the overall treatment plan.

Preferred Certifications/Skills:

Certification or training in

Dry Needling, Cupping Therapy, or Acupuncture

(advantageous but not mandatory). Experience in integrating these modalities with evidence-based physiotherapy practices.
