Job Description

Job requirement:

Provide high quality physiotherapy assessment and intervention for patients in a professional, confidential and culturally safe manner, in keeping with accepted best practice standards. This includes pediatric, adolescent, geriatric patients and the general patient population

Ensure integrated service delivery and follow up, coordinating and communicating as required with other relevant internal, visiting and external providers

Provide follow-up monitoring and care as directed through health assessments

Deliver education sessions to patients participating in health education programs and in-service education in areas relevant to physiotherapy service provision as required

Incorporate a holistic approach to health care that incorporates health promotion activities according to organizational priorities

Ensure information is recorded accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record system, and that records are maintained

Ensure maintenance of privacy and confidentiality in relation to client information

Work closely with reception staff to ensure that booking and billing of clients is completed efficiently and accurately

Actively maintain knowledge relevant to your job role and ensure information is effectively captured for accurate processing of claims

Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly. Maintains department cleanliness and safety.

Confers with the individuals most closely associated with the patient and keeps them informed on patient needs, treatment modifications and progress

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy of at least three (3) years duration from an accredited institute/college/university. Experience in the same role handling the equipment with similar specifications Experience managing the patient flow A minimum of two (2) year of work experience as a Physical Therapist European background
