Role Overview:

The Pharmacy Technician supports daily pharmacy operations by preparing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring safe storage of pharmaceuticals in line with DOH/DHA regulations. The role also involves preparing intravenous solutions and admixtures using aseptic techniques, performing dosage calculations, and assisting in pharmacy-related administrative tasks to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities

Prepare medications, IV solutions, and admixtures using aseptic techniques. Perform accurate pharmaceutical dosage calculations and recognize inappropriate dosing. Maintain pharmacy inventory, storage conditions, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Operate and maintain pharmaceutical equipment safely and effectively. Assist in prescription filling, labelling, documentation, and incident reporting. Ensure accurate pharmacy records and compliance with CME and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

Diploma in Pharmacy (minimum 2 years). At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in the pharmaceutical field. * Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, procedures, and regulations.
