The Position

At Roche we are investing in the support for the country safety staff, and in that context we are recruiting a new outsourced Pharmacovigilance (PV) Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for supporting PV activities within the PV Hub coverage areas (Russia, Turkey, Commonwealth of Independent States Cluster) to ensure PV activities are completed consistently in a timely manner in accordance with internal processes and local and international regulatory requirements. The employee will closely cooperate across affiliate patient safety-international patient safety (APS-IPS) functions, have cross-country and pan-Hub community interactions to provide fit-for-purpose safety solutions and to contribute to the continuous growth and evolution of the PV Hubs. Russian language (speaking/reading) would be very much beneficial (reading as a must, speaking optional). The employee will report directly to PV Hub Head Dubai.

Your Responsibilities

Performing Individual Case Safety Report (ICRS) processing and quality checks as needed

Keeping relevant databases up to date

Supporting PV Hub team in maintaining standards and implementing improvements

Participating in PV project work when deemed necessary

Ensuring audit and inspection readiness and effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) development relevant to hub operational activities

You are expected to adhere to the Roche values, Core competencies, and Leadership Commitments

Your role will include supporting PV activities within the PV Hub coverage areas to ensure activities are completed consistently in a timely manner in accordance with internal processes and local and international regulatory requirements including

Providing support to affiliate patient safety partners in oversight of risk management activities

Who You Are

You hold a University degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medical science, Clinical Pharmacology, or related

You built a maximum of 1 year of experience in a similar role. Fresh graduate with internship experience are invited to apply as well

You are a strong team player

You have agile, flexible, and able to work virtually to support a wide geographical are

You are detail oriented

You have strong organizational skill and are able to prioritize

You are fluent in English language (speaking and writing). Mastering Russian language is considered a plus (speaking and writing)

You are already located in Dubai (UAE)
